Blink and you’d have missed us – the last few weeks have been absolute carnage (in the best possible way). August had us juggling cricket clubs, camper vans, and a mountain of sourdough, and now September’s already shaping up to be just as mad.

From sweaty festival fields to stately wedding halls, from new takeaway launches to the odd dough disaster (don’t mention last Thursday, Luke has PTSD), it’s been non-stop pizza action. Here’s the lowdown on what we’ve been up to, where we’ve been, and where you’ll find us next.

Farewell for Now, Harrogate

We wrapped up our summer stint at The Balcony Sports Bar at Harrogate Cricket Club, and what a flaming success it was. Serving the Harrogate crowd kept us sharp, slick, and well-oiled under pressure. We made loads of new friends and regulars, and I even bumped into an old football mate from 25 years ago – cue a lot of bad jokes about dodgy knees and even dodgier headers.

The new REMY Rewards app was a hit too, especially with the junior cricketers who lined up for their Friday night Margheritas. We’ll be back at the Balcony next season, ready to serve bangin’ sourdough pizza to young stars and their hungry parents alike.

What’s This REMY App All About?

For those who’ve not tried it yet, REMY Rewards is our little way of saying thanks. Every pizza you buy earns you stamps, and stamps lead to free pizza. Simple as that. Download the app, keep track of your rewards, and don’t forget to turn notifications on so you don’t miss our exclusive deals and cheeky surprises.

Supporting local has never tasted this good.

Wheldrake Fridays – Starting 5th September

Now for something close to home – literally. From Friday 5th September, our pizza trailer will be parked up at Millfield Industrial Estate, outside Wheldrake Classic Cars (What3Words: ///fresh.openings.anchovies). It’s our brand-new Friday night takeaway spot, bringing our bangin’ Roma-style sourdough pizzas back to where The Woodfired Kitchen began.

This one’s for the villages too – Wheldrake, Elvington, Thorganby, Escrick – you can stop by, grab your pizzas, or even get them delivered via REMY. Friday nights just levelled up.

VW Aircooled Field of Dreams 2025

Last week feels like another lifetime, but what a ride – three days of Field of Dreams VW festival madness. Pizza, breakfasts, lunch wraps, beetles, campers and a field full of hungry people who didn’t stop smiling (or eating). We made stacks of new foodie friends and can’t wait to meet them again at the next festival field. Watch this space.

Pints & Pizzas on the Horizon

We’ve also had chats with a brand-new Ale House opening soon in York. The idea of ale and pizza nights is brewing, the first one might just be happening on October 25th. Keep your eyes peeled.

Blacksmiths & Parsons

This Saturday, we’re off to the beautiful Gisborough Hall Hotel near Middlesbrough, where 120 guests will be tucking into our sourdough pizzas in the most jaw-dropping surroundings. A wedding feast to remember for the happy couple from Leeds.

And of course, our mates at The Blacksmiths Arms, Naburn continue to keep Thursday nights buzzing. We’ve built up a loyal crowd there and boosted the pub’s footfall – something we’re proud of. Last week’s “experimental/stand-in dough” nearly caused chaos, but we’re back tonight to set the record straight with pizza perfection (their words, not ours).
